Many congratulations on such a successful offsite event. I had no idea what to expect and felt a sense of nervousness as I usually like to be prepped and locked down. Especially when it comes to public speaking in front of people that I don’t know.
Your approach was extremely relaxed, fun and inclusive. There was clear methodology behind the structure of influencing which I really enjoyed -  it makes the content of future presentations / public speaking a lot more engaging if one structures their story using your process.
It is always hugely daunting (and indeed most people’s worst nightmare) to get up on stage and speak with conviction to people you don’t know. I felt very privileged to be in the company of really supportive and kind people – everyone wanted everyone else to do well and I think we all shared our own nerves an fears about speaking. You as a facilitator were extremely encouraging to all of us when we spoke.
It really does highlight how poor some very senior managers can be at influencing in their organisations. They are usually, in my experience, dull power point presentations.
A million thanks to you, it was a very memorable day for me, and I really did learn a lot - not just about influencing but also about myself.
